HEAD – SOCIAL WORK

Candidates should possess:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work

  • Must be registered with Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW)

  • At least 6 years’ relevant working experience with minimum 2 years’ experience in providing clinical supervision

  • Strong inter-personal skills with an interest in relationship building

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • At least 3 years in a supervisory position with experience in managing people

Job Description:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, supervision and support to team members in the Social Work Department

  • Manage supervision structure and oversee professional development of team members

  • Manage the overall operation of the department and guide delivery of social work intervention plans to address needs of clients and their families

  • Evaluate effectiveness of clinical interventions and services, and report on overall progress on impact on clients and families

  • Conduct financial assessments and maintain all relevant records pertaining to case work intervention with clients and their families

  • Strategize overall direction for the department and develop strategies and implement annual work plan to achieve the organisational purpose and objectives

  • Develop and manage annual operating budget for Social Work Department to support all social work services

  • Work closely with all other departments for integrated plans to achieve holistic development of clients and their families

  • Compile, maintain and provide monthly, quarterly and annual statistics and progress reports

  • Perform any specific projects and duties assigned by Deputy Executive Director from time to time


Arts Development Manager

Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Experience in the arts sector and arts-related work in public arts events and programmes is preferred

  • Strong inter-personal skills with an interest in relationship building

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • 3-5 years in a supervisory position with experience in managing people will be an advantage

Job Description:

  • Conceptualise and supervise implementation of flagship arts festival, arts development programmes and initiatives to widen engagement and deepen progressive development of beneficiaries

  • Work closely with the Community Partnership & Marketing Department to drive marketing, sponsorship and other initiatives to create greater visibility for the arts festival, and hence awareness for the organisation’s cause and niche focus in arts and talent development

  • Establish collaboration with community partners and external stakeholders for delivery of expertise and domain knowledge

  • Evaluate effectiveness of programmes, and develop and implement strategies to achieve the organisational purpose and objectives

  • Manage and direct Arts Development team, including supervision and guidance

  • Compile, maintain and provide monthly, quarterly and annual statistics and progress reports

  • Perform any specific projects and duties assigned by Deputy Executive Director from time to time
