Tasty baked goods made by our caregivers
A Charity Bake Sale was born from Club Rainbow's Vocational Development core pillar. With this initiative, we aim to help our beneficiaries and caregivers to be independent and self-sufficient individuals leading a life with dignity.
Caregivers participating in the Charity Bake Sales have undergone Club Rainbow’s Bake Under the Rainbow baking pathway, designed to meet learning needs and industry certification requirements.
This pathway exposes youth and caregivers to the Discovery level program, allowing them to explore interests and identify strengths.
Those interested in enhancing their skills were then offered Developmental level courses, where they gained professional knowledge and practical skills in pastry and bread making, including understanding underlying science and mathematics concepts.
Additionally, WSQ Food Safety certification enhanced their opportunities as home bakers and in open employment.
Ondeh-Ondeh Tarts
This Ramadan, our caregivers have learned a special menu, Ondeh-Ondeh Tarts.
Made with white chocolate melted in the middle, topped off with Gula-Melaka and coconut shavings.
Our Ondeh-Ondeh tarts is a must have during this Ramadan festive period.
